Open Hub

Open 5G Hub Brno at the Brno Exhibition Centre is a 5G test zone equipped with a 5G MPN network,
an IoT mesh network and video sensing

The possibility to develop and test your own applications, prototypes and products

Part of the non-commercial BVV Living Lab project – a living laboratory for the development and testing of innovations in a real environment (domains smart city, industry 4.0, future mobility, e-health)

Owned and operated by BVV Trade Fairs Brno, funded by a grant from the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic, National Recovery Plan, project ID: CZ.31.6.0/0.0/0.0/23_087/0008930

Technology supplier: T-Mobile CZ, LAMBERGA s.r.o., VisionCraft s.r.o.

Technology

5G MPN

5G MPN

The private 5G network (MPN) provides extremely fast, stable and secure connectivity with minimal latency. It enables reliable operation of even the most demanding applications – from autonomous mobility through industrial automation to real-time data analytics.

Technical parameters in downloads.

IoT mesh síť

IoT mesh network

Thanks to its decentralized architecture, the IoT mesh network is resilient, flexible and ideal for connecting devices within smart infrastructure – from energy systems to the management of urban furniture.

VIDEOSENZORIKA

VIDEO SENSING

Advanced video sensing cameras enable detailed data collection and analysis in real time
– for example, about traffic or pedestrian movement. The solution is designed with an emphasis on anonymity and GDPR compliance, so it provides valuable information without compromising privacy.

Spaces

For testing innovative solutions and prototypes, the exhibition grounds offer not only advanced technologies and indoor spaces in buildings, but also outdoor areas with a total size of up to 55 ha.

Pavilon P

Pavilion P

Basic parameters

Hall space: 15,000 m²

Availability for testing: up to 150 days per year

Trade fair events: approx. 60 days per year – intensive movement of people

Occasional events: festivals, concerts and other events with a capacity of up to 12,000 people

Remaining period: assembly and dismantling of trade fair events

Testing in controlled conditions, protection from adverse weather, the possibility of securing against access by unauthorized persons, non-public space.

In an empty hall: indoor flight space for drones, logistics, autonomous mobility, simulation of logistics and production processes, creative industry.

During events: testing technologies that require the presence of a large number of people, e.g. e-health, cybersecurity, crowd surveillance, retail marketing.
